Outline Chapter 19 – NORTH AND SOUTH GRAPES CHART - due FRIDAY MAY 4TH   

Armenian Genocide (this is a chance to understand my culture)
– look at what is this, when did it happen, what happened, why did it happen (reasons), who was involved, What is the outcome, How were they able to do this? Did anyone protest or help?  – write at least 5 sentences for each question – Due Monday April 30th
– GRAPES the culture on a mini-poster ~ Due Friday April 27th

I will collect the Journal Writes due on Fridays – staple them together – they get checked in.
Journal Writes ~ What does it Say, Why does it matter, What does it mean and What do I think (3-5 sentences per Say, Mean, Matter, Think)


Culminating Task – THE ABC’S OF 8TH GRADE AMERICAN HISTORY ~ DUE MAY 18th  -   NO EXCEPTIONS / NO LATE WORK ACCEPTED
 (TOTAL OF 300 POINTS)
- The Book (260 points), Title Page (20 points), Creativity (20 Points)
- Read the information sheets
** Extra Credit ~ write 1 deep complex question for each of your ABC’s (you can only get extra credit if you did the 26 pages and Title page completely)
***Extra Extra Credit – find a quote that you like from your person

- find a poem/art item you like from the poet/artist
- then draw/write your own in the style of the artist or Poet
