Fall 2015 ~ Week 5 ~ Native Americans & Constitution Day

In Class we discussed/accomplished:
                            U.S. History Classes
     Native Americans
      Cherokee Nation ~ Native Americans
      Preamble 

   All students are encouraged to turn in their assignments on time, for full credit.  If there is an issue ~ they may turn in work late and receive a passing grade on the assignment.  The student will need to bring it to me ~ since I won't ask for it.  

MY GOAL IS TO HAVE ALL STUDENTS EARN AN A IN MY CLASS!

                            Multi-Cultural Studies Classes
     Hispanic Heritage Month ~ being the process using GRAPES and Artifacts (masks, mandalas, poetry, music, famous USA Americans …) to study the cultures
      CONSTITUTIONS Day
     
Assignments:
                            U.S. History Classes
      Due Tuesday 9/15/15 ~ Find (research) anything about the Cherokee Nation/Culture
      Due Wednesday 9/16/15 ~ Preamble videos notes (4 videos)
      Due Thursday 9/17/15 ~ Watch the Republican Debate ~ take notes on each candidate (on the organizer)  On a separate lined paper ~ choose 1 person you would vote for and list the reasons why.
      Due Friday 9/18/15 ~ Preamble assignment ~ 
        Rewrite the Preamble "In your Own Words" on the scroll.  
        Pick a Quote (about the constitution) Write it on the flag and list the reasons you like it.  You can decorate it if you would like.
      Due Monday 9/21/15 ~ Constitution Word Search and Crossword
~ Chapter 1 Native American Workbook
