May's Work 2016

U.S. History Class
  In-Class discussing and accomplishment:
v      Civil War ~ Causes, People and War
~ BrainPop ~ (for the 4 sections: Watch the movie, take the quiz, time zone and make a map Screen Short each and send it together to Jupiter the Assignment)

Civil War ~ 3 Causes, 3 Important Events during the war, & 3 “effects” of a harsh Reconstruction
*  find 3 Causes of the Civil War - explain why they are a cause of the War
*  Find 3 important events during the Civil War ~ and why were they important
* Find 3  after comparing and contrasting the differences between the Reconstruction Lincoln's vs the other Unionist view of reconstruction plus what was the results caused by this harsh style of reconstruction

You will need to represent all the major time periods in our history (Native Americans, Exploration, Colonial, Revolutionary, Young Rebublic, Expansion, Civil War, Reconstruction & Industrial Revolution) ~ remember the GRAPES of:  Geography, Religion, Achievements/Advancements/Arts/Artifacts, Political Structure, Economics (Trade, Money, Barter, Staple Food) and Social Structure!
You must have:
~ Content cards (Question and answer)
~ How to move around the board
~ A way to win
~ Create pieces
~ Write the instructions

     May is ~ Samoa, Hawaiian or Philippians Heritages ~ using the process of GRAPES and Artifacts (masks, mandalas, poetry, music, famous USA person …) to study the cultures

  Remember use GRAPES to vary the questions:  Geography, Religion, Achievements/Advancements/Arts/Artifacts, Political Structure, Economics (Trade, Money, Barter, Staple Food) and Social Structure!

1-4 questions per Heritage for a D  (1-36)
5-7 questions per Heritage for a C  (37-63)
8-9 questions per Heritage for a B  (64-81
10 questions per Heritage for an A  (82-100+)
Heritages are:
     Hispanic/Latino,
     French/Italian,
     Native American,
     Scandinavian/Swedish/Germany,
     Chinese/Japanese,
     African American,
     Irish/Great British,
     Armenian/Arab/Jewish
     and Hawaiian/Samoan/Philippines 
You can include 💃 Women's History too (extra - use only if you completed the heritages)
