Fall 2015 ~ Week 10 ~ Declaration of Independence

In Class we discussed/accomplished:

  
                        U.S. History Classes
     Declaration of Independence ~ the Greatest Break-up letter ever in all of World History!
      Republican Debate ~ Wednesday 10/28 ~ take notes  (use your graphic organizer and add to it ~ turn in who you vote for after hearing both debates)
     Moving toward the Revolutionary War
     Citizenship in the 8th grade class ~ their work ethic & their class reputation

                       Multi-Cultural Studies Classes
     Filipino, French and Italian Heritage month ~ being the process using GRAPES and Artifacts (masks, mandalas, poetry, music, famous USA Americans …) to study the cultures

      Due Thursday 10/22/15 ~ Chapter 6 ~ The Declaration of Independence
      Due Friday 10/23/15 ~ Second Read of the Declaration of Independence - Choose 5 reason's the Colonists' gave for separating from England and from Chapter 5 the Parliamentary Act that it relates too.  
      Due Monday 10/26/15 ~ View these videos and take notes (to turn in) declaration-of-independence  
     Wednesday 10/28 ~  Republican Debate ~ Due Thursday 10/29 - take notes  (use your graphic organizer and add to it ~ turn in who you vote for after hearing both debates)
      Due Thursday 11/2/15 ~ Chapter 7 ~ The American Revolution

                       Multi-Cultural Studies Classes

      Due Wednesday 10/21/15 ~ Create a Filipino, French or Italian Mask
      Due Monday 10/26/15 ~ Create a Filipino, French or Italian inspired Poem
      Due Thursday 10/27/15 ~ Create a logo for the class
      Due Friday 10/30/15 ~ Create a Filipino, French or Italian a Person in US History Biography 

All Students in Both Classes 
   All students are encouraged to turn in their assignments on time, for full credit.  If there is an issue ~ they may turn in work late and receive a passing grade on the assignment.  The student will need to bring it to me ~ since I won't ask for it.  

MY GOAL IS TO HAVE ALL STUDENTS EARN AN A IN MY CLASS!
