The African American’s in slavery need to be
secretive in communicating with each other.
In this activity, students analyze the images in the textbook and Google
Search & analyzes the images and the descriptions of what is happening in
each image? How did the African
Americans face slavery and discrimination in the mid-1800s? Create a symbolic quilt 9 squares a visual
reference to the experiences in a slave’s life.
